What do you see when you look in the mirror?

What do you see when you look in the mirror?

If you are not in agreement with what God says about you; you are divided and you have given the enemy and his cohorts legal right to torment you. Matthew 12:25-30 Jesus says it this way “Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand. If Satan drives out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then can his kingdom stand? And if I drive out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your people drive them out? So then, they will be your judges. But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. “Or again, how can anyone enter a strong man’s house and carry off his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man? Then he can plunder his house. “Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters. ” These verses for me reiterates the power of agreement. I believe Jesus is saying choose which Kingdom you are apart of and choose to agree. If you want His Kingdom to come on earth as it is in Heaven then it is imperative to agree with Him. We cannot walk in disobedience to  His counsel and walk in power.

It is time to WALK IN ONENESS with the King of Kings like never before. Yesterday I had the privilege of speaking to a group of teenagers in a spanish church. As I was preparing to speak, the Lord said to me “anything I think I can’t do I CANNOT RULE OVER” since the Word of the Lord to me a few weeks ago when I asked the Lord what would He would He have me do in this new season….and His reply was “RULE!” I began to look at what I had been saying with my MOUTH and in my HEART that I cannot do. For everything I had been saying I noticed it was as a result of looking at my own ability. Philippians 4:13 says “I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO GIVES ME STRENGTH. ” The I CAN DO ALL THINGS is DEPENDENT on THROUGH CHRIST WHO GIVES ME STRENGTH. SAINTS it is time to learn how to live our lives THROUGH CHRIST WHO GIVES US STRENGTH. When we do, NOTHING NOTHING, NOTHING ….WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE! You will then be above not beneath, no more oppression from demons. You will be able to RULE as God intended over all He has given you.
How do we do all things THROUGH CHRIST? Proverbs 3:5- 6 says it this way “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Your trust in the LORD is shown when you acknowledge Him, inquire of Him, you wait on Him, when you expect Him to lead you and guide you; only then will HE DIRECT YOUR PATHS.

The woman with the issue of blood tapped into this secret when she said in her heart “If I only touch the hem of His garment I shall be healed.” What are you saying in your heart? If you think the solution is in your ability you will fail because only through Him you can do all things. The bible says in Luke 8:44-46 that She came up behind Him and touched the fringe of His garment, and immediately her flow of blood ceased. And Jesus said, Who is it who touched Me? When all were denying it, Peter [b]and those who were with him said, Master, the multitudes surround You and press You on every side! But Jesus said, Someone did touch Me; for I perceived that [healing] power has gone forth from Me. Are you drawing from Jesus? You see the woman with the issue of blood acknowledged the Lord by pulling on His power. Who are you acknowledging? Our talents and our gifts are fruits of being connected with Him. If we choose to operate in them alone rather than the Oneness He has offered to us we are operating in folly.

There is POWER for your healing, your deliverance, your breakthorugh, but first I CAN’T must be IRRADICATED from your vocabulary so you can have your breakthrough. BELIEVE once and for all that THROUGH CHRIST YOU CAN DO ALL THINGS. ACKNOWLEDGE HIM TODAY AND EVERYDAY AS YOU WALK IN ONENESS WITH HIM. WHAT DO YOU SEE WHEN YOU LOOK IN THE MIRROR? YOU SHOULD SEE  the new creation that Jesus said you are. “Christ in you the Hope of Glory.” Begin to WALK in AGREEMENT and BREAK EVERY STRONGHOLD AND REMOVE EVERY FOOTHOLD OF THE ENEMY by choosing to WALK IN ONENESS- BEGIN TO RULE!!!!.

Walking in Kingdom

Walking in Kingdom Authority and Anointing

The word authority suggest the ability or the power or right to give orders, make decisions, and enforce obedience. Being a parent of two boys one 13 and the other 5, the authority I would extend to my 13 year old I would not consider for my 5 year old. I said that to say authority is usually given based on maturity (not age).  Maturity if not rooted in the true knowledge of who God says you are and actively living that out, stifles your ability to walk in greater power. You see there is a strong correlation between your level of (authority) power and your identity.

From the beginning we see that the fall of man was caused because of identity issues. Adam and Eve were lured by the enemy to eat a fruit that looked good. They were reassured by a lying serpent that they would be like God. Completely unaware or disillusioned that a few chapters before, God made man in His image (Hebrew word Selem- shadow or reflection of something greater). Today nothing has changed. The most fundamental issue that is causing us to fall or to prevent us from walking in our God given authority are embedded in twisted notions of our true identity. If you look at that scripture in Genesis 1:26
Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
First God tells us where we are from and the likeness and nature we are formed into. The authority or the ability to rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air…. was second. Fundamentally, only when we embrace our true self will we be released in our God given authority. God never anoints a counterfeit.
Knowing whose you are, so you can know who you are. If you think you are from your parents, a country or a culture  you will expect certain traits, characteristics and even illnesses. However, if you know undoubtedly that you are from God, feeling accepted, valued, secured and loved would be natural. On the other hand, when we don’t, we are riddled with fear, rejection, insecurity and low self esteem.   John 1:13 says it this way  “born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” So according to this scripture your origin is not in man’s will, nor of your parents blood, or of your parents will. THE TRUTH OF WHO YOU ARE IS ALWAYS FOUND IN YOUR ORIGIN  not your past.  Your parents are an integral part of your journey but they are still your past.  Deuteronomy 32:18 reiterates my point “You neglected the Rock who begot you, And forgot the God who gave you birth.” Isaiah 51:1b puts it another way “….Look to the rock from which you were hewn And to the quarry from which you were dug. It is important to be mindful of the Rock or the true Source of our existence.  To embrace the truth that you are begotten of God, you are a shadow of the GREAT I AM says your limitless potential in Him. Many are acquainted with God through man’s wisdom, but not many are intimately acquainted with the person of God. I have learnt over many years that association only causes visitation not habitation. As children of the King His desire is that we would surrender our vessels as a place consecrated for Him to inhabit, dwell, or abide in. The key to finding our true self is to intimately know His person.

How do we become a habitation? We need to watch over our hearts because it is the well spring of life. Our hearts if hardened cannot spring life only death. We become a habitation by keeping ourselves bare, transparent, real before a God who is intimately acquainted with all our ways (Psalm 139: 3b) but waits eagerly for you to cast your cares on Him because you know undoubtedly He cares for you. You see, like Adam and Eve we too when we sin, run and hide, we try to cover ourselves hoping God would not see our shame, guilt and fear. It is impossible to have intimacy with someone who is not being honest or refuse to show their real self. When we choose to put on false covering (fig leaves) it really upsets God because He wants to be our only covering. The bible says it this way “love covers a multitude of sin.” He is LOVE and when we sin HE is our covering; not figs, makeup, smiley face, wigs, weaves, brand names, superficiality, Pastor, Prophet, Apostle and the like.

Have you ever wondered why Jesus cursed the fig tree? This really intrigued me because Jesus could have called forth fruit as He did Lazarus and many other dead people. Jesus was very good at creating something out of nothing, so why curse the fig tree because it had no fruit? I believe the answer is hidden in the law of the first mention in Genesis 3:17 when Adam and Eve tried to settle for temporary covering of figs rather than an eternal covering of the awesome Presence and Glory of God. It grieved the heart of God then and the memory many years later grieved the Son of God (JESUS) so much that He cursed the tree to the ground. He was essentially saying no more false covering but be transparent so we can experience a oneness in Him that is an unbroken fellowship with Jesus as He has with the Father. That’s why He prayed “may they be ONE as WE are ONE”
Inevitably, to walk in Kingdom authority we have to consciously embark on the riveting journey of reclaiming your real identity in Christ and begin to see ourselves through the eyes of Jesus. The bible says “who is man that you are mindful of Him?” Clearly, super valuable that Jesus (the second person in the trinity) was sent to unveil the real you and to leave a divine pattern for you and I to follow. Any limitation on your value, is connected to the unbelief that surrounds the lie you are in agreement with. When we choose to “WALK IN ONENESS” with God we are choosing to dispel every lie by breaking all agreement by embracing His truth and His truth alone.  Embrace your greatness by embracing the GREAT I AM and WALK IN ONENESS with HIM. Choose to embrace, the profound truth of who you are by dispelling every lie as it unveils the Christ in you and it unleashes His power in and through you.

Grief can be one of the most tragic and traumatic events in our lives. It has the potential of leaving us empty, abandoned, full of regret as we grapple with emotional pain. In 2008 I lost my daughter at 28 weeks old. She was stillborn. It was tragic. We had a son before and we were anticipating the arrival of not just a playmate for our son  we  (hubby and I) really wanted a girl so we would have a pair.

One Friday afternoon I was teaching a class, when I had a tug of great force in my stomach that instantly brought me to my knees. I did not know what happened but the pain soon dissipated. Later I went home and told my husband what happened and  decided I would  rest which I did. I soon realised my ankles were swollen. I became increasingly concerned since I had not experienced this with my first born. By the Sunday, my concerned had caused me to make the ultimate decision which was to go to the hospital. At the hospital the rummaged calmly yet frantically around my tummy trying to hear my babies heart beat but to no avail there was none. The midwife brought in some more consultants who did the same thing and then announced that our baby had died. The midwife then said in passing that if I had come on Friday (when I had the tug) there is a great probability they would have been able to save our daughter.

Well as you can imagine, I felt numb from the shock of the loss, burdened with guilt that I could’ve saved my child. Guilt, condemnation and shame whipped me. As I tried to go through the emotional process of putting things in perspective and to face the reality. Since I was at home, days after, I still expected a baby to cry and sometimes even thought I did… went to see in the nursery but…..it was empty. Soon brought to mind numerous questions.

Recently I was reading Isaiah 6:1 as I was preparing to do a message on Glory invasion. This chapter is renowned for the amazing throne room encounter Isaiah had as the glory invaded the temple. However, I could not get over the first seven words in verse one …. The scriptures are describing a glory invasion and yet the mention of King Uzziah’s death seemed important to announce before the invasion.

“In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple.”

This statement is not only telling us when the glory of the Lord invaded but why it invaded. Now interestingly during the grieving process my question to the Lord was WHY? and I believe I am not unique in this. I believe the scripture is clear… before the glory of God can invade our lives something has to die or give. In this case it was King Uzziah. Before Isaiah could only see an earthly king but as he was removed he was able to see a HEAVENLY KING. Whatever, whoever is blocking you from experiencing this heavenly invasion has to go, has to be removed. God does not see things the way we do. Isaiah himself said in chapters 55:8“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the LORD. 9″For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts.…We see our lives here and now. God’s perspective is ALWAYS ETERNAL not temporal.”

I can say having gone through one of the most traumatic times in my life, the death of my daughter has birthed in me a compassion for people that often brings me to tears. Before I would feel pity for others  but rarely  compassion because life’s hardship had hardened me. Compassion leads you to do something. It could be to stand in the gap, to hold someone’s hands through hard times until they overcome. It birthed a passion to help people know that hard times will come, but it is not your identity it is a road you must cross; do not let it harden you but seek out His eternal perspective so you can gain healing and His direction. Since then I have seen many healed from emotional pain, physical pain, trauma, restored to the glory of God. My encouragement is simple, grieve but know it is just for a season. Look to He who is closest to you in this time (Psalm 34:18) and seek out His eternal perspective for you. He loves you more than you know. Expect HIS GLORY TO INVADE YOUR LIFE like never before. Death is not the end it is the beginning.

1.There are some people reading this and you have lived without a father, mother or husband for sometime. They are physically alive but they are dead to you. I believe the Lord wants you invite Him in that lack and to allow yourself to mourn of the loss of that parent or loved one.

2.There is someone reading who has been so hardened by life’s circumstances and the Lord wants you to bring that disappointment, hurt, pain, rejection to Him and allow Him to show you how to see that from His perspective.

3.There is someone who is reading this and you have been in denial about your loss and is still expecting a miracle. Maybe you have a loved one who has died but you cannot accept it, you are still holding on to them. Maybe their room is still the way they left it. The Lord wants you to release that pain to Him.

4.There is someone who has been asking why did this have to happen? The Lord wants to show you His perspective and heal your heart.

Pitfalls that prevent greater Intimacy with God?

Your intimacy with God cannot supersede your love walk with man. Look at the person you are most intimate with and you will see the potential level of intimacy with God. Simply put “you cannot be right with God and wrong with man.”  The two must be in harmony for oneness (or the flow of God) to be released.

1 John 4:20 says it this way ” If a man say, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar: for he that loves not his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen. If a man says, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar.”

The natural is always a divine pattern for the spiritual.

The bible says “Love your neighbour as yourself” (Mark 12:31). Please note this is the second commandment which implies to us we cannot give away what we do not have. The first commandment has a direct correlation to the second commandment. The first says “Love the Lord God with all your heart, your soul and mind. “ Therefore implying, our love for God helps us to identify and embrace the image of God in us so we can love others the way Christ loves us.

Do you want to grow in your intimacy with God? Then, identify what are the barriers of intimacy in your life.

  • Offence
  • Disappointments
  • False Identity
  • Self preservation
  • FEAR

Keep short accounts with man and with God by repentance. As you repent of any offence , disappointments, false identity be sure to ask PAPA for His perspective on all matters/situation so you can be healed from all wounds as new memories are birthed. Self preservation, fear, builds barricades of not wanting to be hurt again in that way, acts as barrier to prevent greater  intimacy.

His perspective and wisdom on all matters will give you insight, foresight and oversight to not only face a similar situation again and again but empowers you to overcome and enables living water to flow out of you  causing greater levels of intimacy.

I declare Greater levels of intimacy as you walk in oneness with the best Daddy ever.

Lots of love ,

Christine Nelson

Are you looking to the Source or to your Resources?

Philippians 4:19 ….And our God will meet ALL your NEEDS according to HIS GLORIOUS RICHES. (Emphasis on His glorious riches not our own).

So often life can be demanding with bills to pay, our children needing a bag, a pair of shoes or just wanting to bless someone and the resources are not there to purchase or to give those things. We can sometimes become heavy laden and begin to question…..

Recently I found myself in a similar situation and I heard the Lord say do not confuse Source for Resource. I felt He was helping me to make the distinction between the Source and our resources. Our Source is God Himself and where every good thing comes from. Our resource are those good things that He provides for us. Too often when we cannot find the resource we allow ourselves to lose our peace. When we live out of our flesh we will always seek resource. However, when we are anchored in the Source, we will seek His divine order for things. The wrong focus can lead us onto a slippery slope. We run the risk of derailing God’s divine plans for our lives and aborting His destiny too.

Laban is a great example of this wrong focus. He was so focused on acquiring resources he deliberately wrung Jacob dry by getting him to work for promises of his daughter Rachel. He changed the conditions of this promise many times so as to get what he wanted. Laban completely overlooked Jacob’s feelings but treated him like a slave at the expense of acquiring resources for his family (Genesis 24:29-60). We must not be driven my resources, if we are to walk the path God has ordained for us before the creation of this world

The Father taught me this principle which I have found to be true both in the old testament and in the new testament. Purpose precedes Provision. In Genesis 1 :26-27
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

God spoke about our purpose before we were created….While in Ephesians 2:10 it says …”created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.” The divine pattern is highlighted that our provision is hidden in our purpose. Therefore, when we embrace fully completely abandoning ourselves; by taking on the responsibility of our call we release our Source to fulfill His plan for us and the provision needed to fulfill this mission. One of the lies we can begin to believe is ….if we are doing what God says it should not be hard. Why am I not seeing the fruits of my labor instantly? Sometimes we forget that when a farmer plants a seed it takes time before he can reap a harvest.

Do not focus on the results. The results are not our business we need to plant the seed and water it by focusing on the promises of God, confessing the promises of God not giving into doubt or fear. The Apostle Paul says it this way “I planted the seed in your hearts, Apollos watered it, but it was God who made it grow” (1 Corinthians 3:6).

Another important thing we must remember is, God never created trees but He gave us seeds to plant…. So often we want the finished product but we are not willing to walk through the process wholeheartedly. If we are only willing to obey and then complain when our expected end is not realised then Papa God being a good Father is simply exposing our impure hearts so that we can look to Him to cleanse and purify.

Sometimes our very motive is the barrier that has blocked us from eating the good of the land. Isaiah 1:19 says “If you are wiling and obedient you will eat the good of the land.” In the past the Lord has pointed out the importance of being both willing and obedient. Recently He pointed out that being willing is a loaded word because we can be willing for numerous reasons. If our reasons are hidden in our insecurities, ambitions, or our social status then our hearts will need purging or cleansing.

So you see when our focus is on the SOURCE -( Hebrew word for ABBA) it keeps our hearts pure. When our focus shifts to resource being a motivation we risk our hearts becoming impure and our motives becoming shady. My recent journey has exposed so much of my heart but as it did for me, may it refocus you and bring you to a place of honesty about your true motives and ask God to purify your heart.

Practical steps

1.Seek the Divine Source- ABBA
2.Focus on the promise not the problem
3.Wholeheartedly pursue your Purpose you will have your provision
4. Trust God…. If He said it, He will do it! It is in HIS Time not YOURS nor Mine
MAY These four steps open NEW doors to you. May your vats be filled with His goodness In JESUS NAME.

Today September 24 th, 2014; marks the beginning of the Jewish New Year. I believe that as we enter a new year, new season, new era I sense greatly a great jubilee in heaven to celebrate that which is about to happen…. In 14 days we would be celebrating 3 important festivities Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year), Yom Kippur (Atonement day the Holiest day of the year) and then Feast of Tabernacles the second (LunarTetrad of the four (BLOOD MOON).

“These are the appointed feasts of the LORD, the holy convocations, which you shall proclaim at the time appointed for them.” Leviticus 23:4 …These feasts are not only prophetic but are God’s appointed times and they carry profound implications.

Recently I had a vision that has led me to believe that our God is about to birth something spectacular! I believe we are embarking on one of the greatest moves of the Spirit of God this world has ever seen.

In my vision, I saw what looked like mist hovering and suspended over the earth. As I saw this I knew I was beholding the Glory of the Lord. As I settled that in my mind I saw people in their homes whose hearts were far away from the Lord falling to their knees and bowing to the King of Kings I could hear their knees as they fell  to the hard ground. I knew these people were falling to their knees in repentance before Our Great KING.

The picture then changed and I saw what looked like blood coming from the earth moving in succession towards the mist that suspended above the earth. I was instantly reminded of what the bible said about Abel’s blood crying out from the ground Genesis 4:10. I felt this was innocent blood that was shed that was crying out from the earth and heaven’s response is to send the  GLORY OF GOD!!

In the glory there is no struggle, in the glory  billions can be healed and restored, in the glory nothing is impossible! I believe we are about to see a great move of God that comes with judgement, signs and wonders and miracles that will leave us in AWE of the KING OF GLORY, THE SELF EXISTENT ONE, THE ALL SUFFICIENT ONE, THE EXTRAVAGANT ONE-ELSHADDAI.

Let us REMEMBER who is this GOD we SERVE!

Do you feel frustrated? Do you feel tired? Are you experiencing feelings of despair?

A few years ago when I had finished writing my first book the Lord said something to the impatient me then …..that still vibrates in my spirit as if He is still saying it.

He said ” when you birth something prematurely you are responsible for its maintenance but if you would wait for My appointed time it is My responsibility to maintain and provide.”

Those words were so profound to me. At the time the book I had finished stayed on my computer for a year. Until….. One day, I heard the Lord boomed “it is time!”

I noticed as I followed His timing everything I needed for this book to be published and be marketed was provided supernaturally as He aligned people, prompted hearts to released resources and locked doors became unlocked. We see the same happened to Abraham as He followed the Lord’s instruction to bring Isaac to Mount Moriah as a sacrifice. By following the instructions of the Lord despite his emotional attachments. Abraham obeyed and he met Jehovah Jireh (the God who provides) that day.You see supernatural provision comes naturally when we are in His timing.

Again God told Abraham His divine purpose for him but Abraham was only focused on having a heir while God’s plan for Him was much bigger than Abraham could imagine. Abraham went ahead and tried to create what he perceived in his earthly imagination to be God’s will but birthed an Ishmael(a counterfeit) instead. You see God is Aleph Tav (Alpha and Omega) His thoughts concerning us is not limited. God wanted to bring forth a whole new nation through Abraham’s generation. Abraham’s imagination could not fathom this. Our imaginations are limited so TRUST THE ALPHA AND OMEGA. He has GREAT Plans for you and me. 1 Corinthians 2:9 “ No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human mind has conceive the things God has prepared for those who love him—”

Everything God does He has a time in mind. His timing unlocks doors of provision, prepares hearts, realigns and orders people for His plans to come to fruition.. Don’t frustrate yourself but stay alert and continue to follow the leading of the Lord. He LOVES You and HAS PLANNED EVERYTHING long before you were even conceived. Lots of love. 1536491_10152680007718504_1892611037_n
